Cayden's Baby Brother

Creighton John Benson was born today around 2 pm. He weighed 8 lbs 13 oz, and measured 21 inches long! He's such a sweet boy. When they first wheeled Jen in from the OR, Creighton was snuggled in with Jen shown in this first picture. It was so cute... he was staring up at Jen - literally - like, "oh hi mom... it's so good to see you!"
Cayden got to see baby brother just before we left to go to their apartment. He was VERY concerned about the IV in Jen's hand, and wanted Jen to come home with us. When he realized she had to stay, he would only come to me, not even Daddy. Cayden's intrigued by this little creature, but sure not too excited that Mom holds the baby instead of him! The next several days should be interesting!! :) Jen will probably be coming home with baby on Saturday or Sunday. Adam will be staying there most of the time with her, so it's just the boys (including John J) and me! Is it time for bed yet? Just kidding!
