Spring Fever or Flu???

Okay... for some reason the following post did not get posted... so here ya go. It was written a few days ago. We're all doing better now and gearing up for the big dual party weekend!

Yuck!! I just got through 2 days of the stomach flu, dehydration, that type of stuff... and just started feeling human, when John J gets it!! He was just sick 2 or 3 weeks ago too. He's feeling better today... thank goodness. It's beautiful weather outside and I'm hoping to get back outside to clean out the never-ending weeds!! Do you remember that scripture (the Lord speaking to Adam) that says something like "instead of flowers the earth will produce thorns and thistles"? Well our backyard is proof of that! The weeds we have are actually thorns and thistles. I think of that every time I weed!!

Another reason for us to all feel better... and NO ONE ELSE TO GET SICK... is that we have two birthday parties this weekend! Are we crazy or what? Yep, Hannah is having her 13th birthday party this Friday/Saturday... with a fun dance theme (she got dancing lessons as her big present)! Then on that same Saturday, Bubba is going to have a "Super Hero" party, where the kids come dressed up as their favorite Super Hero, and we'll have hero type games, etc. Hannah has done SO much research for fun ideas, made the invitations, etc. Her invitations are CD's with the invitation being part of the cover! She also made the superman emblem with a "J" inside for John's invitations. So cute! I'll post pictures of the fun times.

My second block of classes are wrapping up soon. My finals week is the same week as Creighton's birth, but the great thing about online classes is that I can do alot of the work ahead of time so I won't be so busy that week. Cool, huh? I will be receiving my Associates Degree on September 5th, 2011. Then I get to start my Bachelor's program, just one class per five week block. Interesting, right?
