Oh life is such fun!
This is Tiger chilling out. The fact that they sleep on their backs now tell you how comfortable they are with life!!
This is Taylor (or Timmy as Emily calls him). He is the sweetest thing ever!! His personality is so darn sweet and playful!! I think he's our favorite!
This is a picture of Sadie's new litter. They were born on August 25th. so they are just over a week old. She had a pretty quick pregnancy, since we didn't even know she was pregnant until a few weeks before!! However, her litter was the easiest ever to deliver!! No complications, no stalled labor (like Chloe), and all live births! I thought for sure she would have problems since the daddy (Tango) is like twice her size!! But as our vet put it, "Mother Nature usually makes these puppies so that they can be born without problems, no matter the dad's size."So there ya go!
This is Spot, and his little brother "Tyrell" (a good ol' fashion black name) -- haha. Not really. His name is Shadow.
Shadow was the last one to literally "pop out". He was born so quickly and so easily that I didn't even realize he was out until Sadie started doing her thing with him. I love the little stripe down his face, white muzzle, and white tummy too!
This cute little guy is Shilo. He is a lighter brown and white, and will probably lighten up even more to a tan and white. He's a sweetie too!
This is the only girl of the bunch. We named her Skyler - one of Hannah's favorite names. She was the first-born - I was SO excited to have a little girl... and a brown and white particolor puppy at that. I almost started crying - I was so excited! She is the biggest puppy of the litter - You know these girls, especially the first-born, have the pave the way, right Sarah?
Anyway, we have a household FULL of puppies... at one time we had TEN dogs (including puppies). Bet our neighbors (the ones that turned us into Animal control) would love to know that, right??!!
We finally sold Tango!
He is now living in St. George with a cute lady, Charnell. She lives with her elderly parents, her father has cancer. When she took Tango home, the first person he made friends with was the dad with cancer. I really believe that some dogs have that 6th sense of when a person is sick, sad, lonely, or just needs some extra love. It was so cool to hear that. He is being treated like a king - the only dog of the household. Charnell has called me several times to say, "thank you, thank you, thank you!!" They just love him. I'm glad he is there... treated like he should be treated!
Now if we could only find a home for sweet Madison. She is such a good and obedient dog... just a good ol' gal, you know! Sadie will also have a new home with a grandma-type here in Cedar after her babies are weaned. I let them know about the successful puppy delivery, and they said they still want her and plan to buy her.
So that just leaves Chloe left in the household... but, we plan to buy a new beautiful male puppy!! Odin is his current name now, but we'll probably change it. He's 3 months old, is a brown/black and white particolor (my favorite coloring), lives in So. California (hey, dude), is AKC registered, and has championship bloodlines. Just exactly what I'm looking for!! We're in the process of working the details out with the owner... So yes, our household full of dogs will be absolutely CRAZY for awhile, but then we will finally be down to just two dogs - obeying Animal Control and City laws - AND making our neighbors happy.
